Just after objective opinions from people who might know something about these two degree programmes (preferably not just based on league table positions). DC is struggling to choose between them. There are obviously other considerations beyond the academic, but those are easier for DC to weigh up than the courses themselves.

I don’t know much about UCL but my son needs to choose between Warwick MORSE and St Andrews Statistics. One thing we looked at was the graduate / internship opportunities. But I’m sure UCL is a target Uni for graduate jobs too. It’s so hard to choose, DS is leaning towards Warwick. We went to the offer holder day 2wks ago which was good. Best of luck with the decision

UCL Econ and Stat is an excellent course and for students who succeed, many wonderful opportunities should be available. But IMO Warwick MORSE is special and unique. I would choose it every time, for the intellectual calibre. And yes, for a successful student at least as many doors will be open. I think more, because you are doing more maths

PS On the basis of comparing courses, W MORSE over St A Statistics every time. But people mostly choose St A for a whole host of reasons
