How long for UCAT/BMAT prep

Hello all, my daughter is keen on applying for medicine and is currently Yr.11 so will be 2024 start. From what she tells me, she will be sitting UCAT next summer (2023) and BMAT in Nov 2023. She’s very diligent and would start studying now for both, if she could, but is sensibly enough focussing on getting best possible GCSEs and some work experience if she can during the summer. But based off your and your child’s experience, when should she start prepping for them? For the UCAT, is it a drop everything else and blitz it for a month, then sit the exam? And I assume BMAT prep tends to start at beginning of year 13? Just want to be ready to give her some advice as have never been through medical school applications before and we are completely non-medical as a family so haven’t really got much experience to go on. Thank you so much!

About 4-6 weeks before sitting them. So end of year 12. Medify is good to give them practice. And there is a book (1001 UCAT questions ?).
BMAT in the autumn - they might have reinstated the early sitting by then.
