Any dentists or dental mums here? Interview help needed

Ds has his interview tomorrow. He will receive 8 questions and he has 4 minutes to record each answer. Any tips/possible questions muchly appreciated.

Not a dental mum - dd is applying for medicine.

There is an Instagram site called "wearemedic" - they have some guides on interviews and I think there may be a dentistry guide too.

Ds had his interview and unfortunately it didn't go well. There were technical issues but also the questions were nothing that he could have prepared for, which really threw him. Things like "15% of dental students fail the first year, why is that?". He said he felt all of the questions were more or less the same, so he seemed to be giving the same answers. He's very deflated, but it's all part of the process I suppose. He hasn't heard from any of the other dental choices yet so just hoping he gets more interviews.

Just seen this and sorry to feel he's not done as well as he wanted Has he any others coming up? My dd is 5th year at Newcastle.

Just to add, dd only had Cardiff before Christmas, Leeds and Newcastle were Feb/March time, in fact I think she was the last interview for Newcastle.

Red he was rejected from Manchester and hasn't heard anything from Liverpool or Cardiff yet. He has an offer for pharmacy which is reassuring.

Liverpool was my on dds list because it was hard to find out on open day what they were looking for. Good thing about Cardiff is they give personal feedback if you're unsuccessful which could help in future interviews.
