Anyone had this issue at all? We applied for student finance back in April and not heard anything at all other than a request for my daughter's passport which we sent in and had returned.
We didn't hear a bean then I managed to get through last week. We then got an email after they said they didn't know what had happened to say that her case has gone to another higher processing tier (?!**?) and now they are asking for her birth certificate, yet none of this was showing on her login online.
Any ideas? I'm currently on hold but am mystified why they need both sets of ID when I thought it was one or the other?
