Changing mind about Uni

Apologies for asking but DD is the first in our family to go to Uni so it's all new to us.
DD has applied through UCAS and has 4 offers, of which 2 are unconditional. We understand she now has to firm one, apply for finance, and accommodation.
However, there's a possibility she might be offered a degree apprenticeship in the same subject (at her first choice Uni, one of the unconditional offers), which she would prefer.
If she were to accept the uni place, finance etc etc is it easy to untangle if she then decided not to go and do the apprenticeship instead - or will it cost us fees? And if she's applied for finance but then cancels it, will that prevent her from applying again in future?

There is no commitment until September enrolment, even then there is a two week cooling off period before fees and loans are paid over.
