Durham - when will they offer/ decline?

Just wondering if anyone is getting offers/refusals yet?
Have heard amongst my dd friends of a couple of offers but most people still waiting.
I hear that they are usually late but this year seems later than usual.
My dd needs to start making decisions on accommodation soon elsewhere so I wish they would get a move on!

DD heard just before Christmas. That was Earth Sciences.

OP - it is not yet later than normal for Durham I am afraid to say. Hang on in there.

Dd also still waiting/hoping for a non contextual English offer. She is happy to go with Bristol if she doesn't get one but I know would prefer durham

DS still waiting...Geography non-contextual.

We have about half of ours through but half still waiting.... and waiting .... and waiting. But this is not unusual and we had loads of successful offers at the end of March last cycle.

Durham is the friend who is perpetually late, the one who comes flying in the restaurant door saying sorry, sorry as you check your watch. But you are still friends with them because they are epic.

March is not unusual, late March is not unusual. I also think that maybe they were waiting on the announcement this week about grades. They cannot afford to massively over-offer as they need to be able to fit first years into the colleges.

Thanks - the problem is that registration for accommodation at her second choice starts mid march so I hope she hears by then.

Ok - some have started coming in this evening.

It really isn't late for any decisions to be made. Most Scottish students work this conditional offers and manage perfectly fine sorting accommodation with less than a month's notice

Have you seen any History or English offers, Seasonfinale ?

Not recently, just the ones that came through pre Christmas

DD heard from Durham last, around 8 March I think. She did get an offer, but didn't get her choice of accommodation - she was offered the furthest away.

DD heard around early March several years ago. Got the furthest away college too.

Some Geography ones arriving now.
