Summer Placements/Internships

Dd1 has missed her year abroad (doubtful the second half will happen now) and Dd2 likes to be busy. Dd2 will volunteer and work if nothing specific but dd1 would like to get more formal experience.
Is much going to be running? We don’t have contacts in the right places!
They’re both language students.

Have you looked into virtual internships?

Obviously if it's languages, then that might be a challenge I'm guessing that's it hence the year abroad?. there's lots of virtual stuff going on for work experience in other subject areas.

Don’t know where to start with the virtual ones. Particularly for abroad!

Get them to join Linked In and mark sumemr internships as an interest and they will be spammed with loads of online opportunities.

Which languages are they doing? DS is currently working in Costa Rica on a voluntary basis.
