Ds2 sent me the link to his next year house for five! He wanted me to admire it, it looked very nice indeed but has a family there at the moment. So he hasnt seen it physically. It is in Bowerham in a very biblical street (he isnt sufficiently literate (or religious) to get the reference though.

There is now talk of an isle of wight festival.and the Reading Festival. He fears isle of wight plans will prevent him bagging the best room in new house so he is working out some complex itinerary journeying up and down the country.

Cornwall sounds fantastic Sammy.

@Nettleskeins thanks cant wait. lol I know what you mean about a complex itinerary.
She goes 16th-19th of September. Flies from manchester. Her earliest access to the uni flat is 22nd of September. So theres talk about staying as a mates in southport the night before she flies, then the holiday, then coming home to Nottingham, then back again to Lancaster to move in. Think this may involve mum and dad taxi + train at some point.

Glad you got to see a link to the place and looks nice too, so thats a bonus. And Bowerham also, so hes got a good place :) Hopefully when things improve with covid, he can go and visit (and planning which bedroom he wants )

Or instead of ‘then freedom’ how about, ‘freedom follows?’

When they were much younger, our DC used to attend a local drama group where one of the older lads did a wicked Mary Poppins act. I think he did at least audition for BGT, but can't remember now whether he got on.

Yeah freedom as in covid restrictions lifting, freedom in a long break before they return back. Freedom Follows is good for me :) If anyone else has any suggestions?

My brother did an audition on BGT, impressions. He didn't get past the first round as it needed a bit of structure, but he is good at them :)

Ds1 did an audition on.B GT too. what eye opener that was...the media is quite manipulative..queuing for hours and being used for footage (queues, cheers etc) I couldnt fault the way they dealt with the individual performers though, very respectful, aware how much went into each hopeful interview. Tg it put ds off celebrity culture.
Whereas ds2, hmm, still waiting for the limelight..

I applied to go on deal or no deal once. I got through to the final round of auditions and then got a sorry email, 6 months later.
