Applying for additional maintenance loan amount..can anyone answer please?

I have a thread on here already but thought it easier to start a new thread with an additional question.
I realise that DD did not click a button on her original application to say she wanted to apply for the extra maintenance loan amount and now we need to readjust it. She has just phoned student finance and they told her that her parents have to create their own account (as someone kindly told me in my other thread) but I am still unclear on the point, do myself and DH have to have an account EACH or create a joint account? Unfortunately DD did not clarify this on the phone.

You will need an account each, it’s easy to set up and only takes about 10 minutes to complete. 🙂

...as well as on the sfe and the gov.uk sites, but the UCAS one is useful because it's got everything else university application to hand as well
