Summer schools / challenges / activities for keen coder?

DS going into Yr 11 so early days, but already knows he'd like to do a computer science based course at uni. He really enjoys coding and spends lots of spare time coding and helping other people with their coding too.

Although too late for anything this summer, does anyone know of coding related activities that he could get involved in?

Codecademy, and amazon are doing one with google

Smallpeice Trust. Get on their mailing list or follow their Facebook page as places go quickly once a course is announced. Traditionally they have offered short residential courses, and have been offering some online during Covid-19.

Availability is better for girls as they reserve some places for girls and have some girls-only courses and events.
