So if CAGs were used, how does that work for university places?
Have universities held open places for everyone just incase?
With some of DD's friends they lost places at first choices due to their results, but knew their mocks might not have been high enough. School didn't realise CAGs quickly, and even then only if people pushed for them. So they had to move quick to secure a place somewhere for September, esp as the Government said they were not going to change them.
And then now potenitally:
So results changed to CAG but first choice places have already rejected them, so the kids have now taken up insurance or clearing places, and their first choice courses are full.
I'm assuming for these kids nothing will change for them. They will get better grades but they'll have still lost their first choice place anyway.
