OU results are out!

As usual, they’re a day early. I’ve got a Pass 2 with 71%, which TBH is a lot better than I deserve from the absolute minimal effort I put in this year. It’s the last module of my degree and after 6 years I’d had enough! Apparently degree results will come out at the end of the week so my fingers are still crossed.

Anyone else at the OU expecting a result?

No but I would like to say congratulations. I am doing a bricks and mortar degree after deliberating whether to do OU instead. The determination and motivation of anyone doing an open University degree is truly astounding. I wouldn't have even got through the first year of an OU degree.

Thankyou. I started when the DC were 1 and 3 and six years felt like a very long time. They were! But I just thought that the sooner I start the sooner I’ll finish and the feeling now it’s done is worth it.

Good luck with your bricks and mortar!

Congratulations! 🥳

Thanks! I celebrated by falling asleep on the sofa watching a film with DP Hmm It doesn’t look like they’re having degree ceremonies this year so that’s it.

Congratulations to all!

Congrats op.

I know lots of people are unhappy with the adjustments made due to the cancelled exams. I got 86 and 87 then everything was in the 90s. My final grade is 87. No idea what logarithm they're using

snaxinyourslacks · 22/07/2020 12:34

Yes I got a distinction in both modules for my first year. I'm astounded as I put in minimal effort too! Congratulations to everyone.Smile

I’ve only been in touch with one other person on my course and he’s happy. More transparency over how they’ve worked out grades would be welcome though.

Well done you two!

Congratulations @SeasonallySnowyPeasant on your degree. I finished this year as well with a 2:1

Well done everyone for finishing the year, it hasn't been the easiest.
