Anyone not heard back for September intake?

Hello,

Has anyone not heard back for September? I applied to Napier for Nursing (and another for which I have an offer) , UCAS says latest they can reply is Monday. If that passes and nothing I just assume refused?

Offer I have is for 4 year Masters, Napier is 3 year Bsc, spoken to a mentor Nurse and told to do the 3 year so would like to know fo that is an option!

Don't fully understand your question. When did you apply?

FirTree31 · 10/07/2020 07:14

@SirTobyBelch, sorry I should have included that Blush. I applied in May, after I first applied to the Masters which was pulled as it wasn't verified in time by NMC. I submitted a video (instead of interview) on July 2. So it's been 3 months overall and UCAS deadline is 13 July for university to reply, so I guess I've been unsuccessful.

The course I have an unconditional for is closer to home, however I spoke to a Nurse who mentors students and she had advised the uni I have been accepted to is undermined because it has a 3 month summer break, so when you come back to placement your confidence will have dropped.

Fir tree, personally I feel that you shouldnt base your course choice on one person's opinion.
You can always do a few hours on bank or in a NH if you feel that you need to keep your hand in. But TBH a 12 week summer break would be a bonus for me! A chance to recharge.
