Hi everyone - checking in with you all. Hope we (our DC's) are keeping sane.
Well we failed completely with our Exeter open day, and thought they would tell those already booked, that they had set up a virtual tour, instead of the live tours. They didn't, so we couldn't get a slot, which by the time we saw them, they were all filled up
.
Hey ho. Our fail. So, only been to Oxford, and that was wayyyyy back in 2019. DD has exams this week, although they don't seem to be making a big deal out of them, don't think they effect predicted grades, well I hope not! DH's dad, Grandad, died this week, so all very sad, and DD was very close to him. Not from Covid, but from poor treatment due to Covid restrictions........ expected, but unexpected now, if that makes sense.
So, we trundle on. DD will have a couple of days in school from 15th June, but only for some UCAS mentoring, a presentation she has to do for some coursework, and pastoral. I suppose that is something.
