So .. basically I’m in first Year (of 6!) of an OU course , part time study, all going okay til now ..
TMA is due in on Tuesday due to the lurgy then catching up with work stuff I’ve fallen way behind in study on the topic , currently catching up and so have limited time to actually complete the TMA , been offered an extension but this would then eat in to next block of study etc etc
Substitution works on this module so an non submitted TMA wouldn’t be the end of the world .. can’t decide to either spend time fluffing some of the TMA by reading around the questions rather than studying whole topic .. or not submit but complete all the activities, SAQs etc etc and get on track with next block
Anyone been in similar situation I’m erring more towards the second option at the moment

Yeaaah but the shortest TMA ever Blush.. think a maximum of 30 marks and that's if I score full marks on the two questions .. ne'er mind onwards and (hopefully!) upwards Wine
The next TMA is going to be amazing .. I am going to be organised and not last minute at all Hmm

If it's the fourth out of seven then just submit what you can and rely on substitution,

@marashino my tutor says substitution will 'minimise the effect' .. just need to get back on track for the next two plus TMA07 which is an non substitution/extension one
Having a night off then back to it tomorrow

winewellies sympathy and a large glass of wine tonight!

I did much the same with my last TMA, had to miss out one of the questions as I ran out of time. I did well on my first two assignments so I'm trying not to stress out about it. When I signed up for the module I had no idea I'd stop working from home and get a new job within two weeks of the course starting, then split with DH Sad It's been very hard getting my brain into gear!
