2nd year accommodation UWE

My son is at UWE and hasn't yet made a friendship close enough to be able to arrange shared accommodation in Sept 2020. He seems settled and has joined three societies which keep him busy. I am unsure how to guide him now. I know it is his responsibility but it's the first adult thing he has had to sort independently and he doesn't seem to have a plan. Any kind words of advice please? Anyone else looking for shared accommodation at UWE?

Fresher Facebook groups and the UWE student accommodation office should be his first ports of call. There's always someone who has a spare room - people drop out etc, right up until the beginning of next term.
