redundant text books

she's at UNI and i have a pile of redundant, expensive (Edexcel etc.)AS and A level textbooks that no charity, i can find, wants. They are no longer relevant to current exams but stuffed full of knowledge and surely i dont have to take them to the dump? any ideas, please ?

we buy books might take them, you will have to enter the bar codes and see. could try listing them as a job lot on freecycle or ebay. I think the british heart foundation might take them, or a local charity shop like scope
