Hi, I keep going round in circles with this and UCAS is closed so i can't ask! Ds is taking MAT for 4 Universities (Oxford, Warwick, Imperial and Bath) . I was told by UCAS that ds should enter it on the form which he duely did. School have now looked at the form and said they need to add a predicted grade for every 'pending' qualification which clearly they can't do. UCAS co-ordintor at school not sure how to approach this - can anyone whose ds have been through this please advise!

Email them both together and ask "could you both talk to each other to sort this out please, as I am going round in circles" ?

That is: Bath and UCAS

I'm sure if he gets an offer from Bath he could email them with the MAT result and they would subsequently lower it. UCAS arent going to change their entire system for OBE uni new to these tests.

Otherwise could school.put something I like pass and it send?

@GoodbyeStranger has it right: Bath created the problem, so Bath should offer the solution.

Note that Bath Maths were short of applicants this year and went into Clearing with dropped grade requirements. They don't enforce grades comparable to those of Imperial/Oxbridge. The situation is unlikely to be different this year i.e. one grade below standard offer is highly likely to be accepted (provided dropped grade is not in maths).
