Backpack for University

Just occurred to me that DS will need one for uni. What’s everyone else’s child using or what would you recommend? Im particularly interested in:

Ability to store laptop of about 17inch plus folder
Very good back support! So good shoulder straps and padding.

I’ve looked on amazon and there’s a myriad of back packs it’s difficult to know what to choose from.

My DD is just going into her second year - she needed a lot of new stuff as she was changing from a fully catered room in college to a shared house.
Some of it she's bought herself, some bits I've picked up for her as and when I've thought of something/seen something that might be useful. A lot of things we have looked for and bought together which much discussion - she seems to value my opinion, we have similar taste and I enjoy helping her. Similarly she asks for our advice and opinions about many decisions she makes, and comes to us if she needs help.
I don't understand the mentality that parenting is no longer needed and should stop as soon as a child turns 18.

That’s lovely Aurea. I see they do a similar one in a backpack, I’m tempted......

The messenger bag is lovely quality. Really pleased with it. It can be spot washed and reproofed so I bought the reproofing spray as well.

Should last a long,long time as they do free repairs should anything go wrong. Very comfy over the shoulder too.

btw if anyone wants a recommendation, this one is really good as it opens like a tawny frogmouth so they can find what they want easily in lecture theatres, wide padded straps good for backs, showerproof and has good zipped pockets for easy secure phone extraction.
