DD has had a change of plans, she has a place to study an Art foundation course but now considering going straight to degree course. Is it possible to apply through clearing if she hasn't already applied anywhere on UCAS?

Take a look at the UCAS website. Late applications are possible and she can go into clearing.

If it’s at the same institution she could contact them direct to discuss - might be possible with interview/ portfolio etc

Thanks yes that 's worth doing I'll get her to speak to them direct, nothing ventured and all that!
Will also check UCAS.

My DD applied at Easter 3 years ago for a STEM course and got offers from her 3 choices. She did phone up 2 of them first to see if they would accept a late offer.

Oh that's encouraging, thx
