Hello,
I have recently embarked as a student on a Psychoanalytic course at Birbeck University.
Part of my course, I have to conduct an Infant Observation. Therefore I am looking and find a willy family in Bromley and surrounding areas, that will allow me to observe their newly born infant in the family home. the observations will take place one hour every week, for one year.
The purpose of undertaking a baby observation as part of this course is to help students learn about very early development and the baby's growing relationships from the direct experience of observing, as well as to help learn about the observer role.
Most families that have participated in this type of study report finding it a supportive and enriching experience.
