Dd has architecture interview. Questions?

In 3 weeks time. Has she got a portfolio ready......No she hasn't even though I told her she could be called for an interview quickly! Teenagers!

If anyone has had children who've had architecture interviews in previous years and could give an idea of possible questions that would be appreciated.

She's currently making a list of stuff she thinks she may be asked.

Go to the RIBA website and look for the Think Architecture pdf. This has a section on getting into university and interviews. There are a few questions listed. You/she can always ask them what would be good to include in a portfolio. The university should give tips too. She should be able to answer questions on her portfolio so think about inspiration, what worked and what didn’t and her approach to problem solving.
Look at the course content and think about how she would engage with this. What excites her?

I think she’s left it late regarding the portfolio prep. She’s also lucky they haven’t wanted to see some of it in advance. DD has to sunbit a partial portfolio for an art course. They then sift and call to interview after that. She needs to get a move on! She also needs to know her portfolio inside out.

She did art, photography and graphic design at gcse and is doing product design at a level so I think has a lot of stuff, just needs to put it together.

The University of Plymouth has excellent advice on what they like in a portfolio. If the university where she is being interviewed has similar she would be advised to follow their recommendations.
