What aspect isn’t she enjoying ? Going to university is a very hard time at first I remember going home after two days crying as I had no friends and it felt like everybody else was socialable and having a fab time.my dad bought me a tv , DVD player and the box set of friends and sent me back with it ha. Luckily I made friends with flat mate who introduced me to some amazing people who i am very good friends with 10 years later. Encourage her to stick at it once she has friends she will love it

Is it the course, the place or the people she lives with? Or all 3?
I did 6 months of a nursing degree before I realised it wasn't for me. Tbh it wasn't what I wanted to do anyway but I didn't think I'd do so well in my exams to get into anything else (couldn't get into anything else via chearing as didn't want to leave home). I quit , worked for the remainder whilst applying for another course. Now I have a PhD in a different field (am 35).
Find out what it is she doesn't like about her whole experience. It's normal to feel like a fish out of water, but listen to what she has to say at the same time normalising feeling of anxiety/ fear etc
