When will I hear regarding application?

I have applied for a distance learning post-grad course at Brunel University starting January 2018.

I sent my application off mid December, I appreciate this was late however I phoned to check and they said there was still time.

Two days after my application I had an email to say my application had been forwarded to the relevant department but since then I have heard absolutely nothing!

I phoned the admissions office to chase two weeks ago, and they said they are waiting to hear back from the department. I rang them again today and they are still waiting to hear back from the department. They were not able to give me any sort of indication of when I might hear.

Is this normal when it comes to post-grad courses?

yes! They'll be bogged down with UG admissions at the moment.

They've just called me for a phone interview and at the end of the interview they told me I've been accepted. So happy! :-)
