Book Keeping courses

I am thinking of doing a course in Book Keeping. I have seen the spec for Home Learning College which seems to tick all the right boxes. I want to do the course from home rather than go to college as I have two little ones. So anyone recommend a good course that I can do from home.

Also if anyone has done Home Learning College courses, how did you find it? Was is good and worthwhile?

I did one last year with Pitman Training, course was OK learnt everything I needed, but as had no experience couldn't actually get any work, although I think that may have been lack of confidence.

I did it from home on my laptop but think that is quite unusual, but worth a try as they may be able to do the same for you. Other than that they were open a couple of evenings a week and Saturdays.

It cost around £1000, not sure how much the home learning college costs.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. Are you still looking for a job?

I work full time anyway and did most of the course during work as things are so quiet. Still working for the same place as an Administrator, but hoping might be able to get into Purchase Ledger later in the year when our head office closes and relocates.
