6th Form Entry Boarding School suggestions please

We live in London. My son would like to board for 6th Form. He is very sporty - an all rounder, especially tennis, cricket and rugby. He is bright, good with languages but not in the highest academic achieving group. Could any mumsnettters suggest some boarding schools - co-ed or boys, not so far from London - which your children have postively experienced

You should probably ask to have this moved to Secondary Education, you'll get more replies there.

A bit of a trek from London, but Rydal Penrhos in North Wales very good for sport, has sports scholarships , rugby academy, golf , my friends in Germany sent their son because of the location for water sports, climbing etc, Direct train I believe from London? They used to fly over via Manchester and Liverpool Has pupils in national sailing teams, article in the Telegraph this week, Vicky Thornley the Rio olympic rowing gold medal winner went there
