My daughter has a nursing conditional, has fallen short of the entry so just wondered if she can use clearing for other universities she applied to but didn't get an offer?
Otherwise looking for plan b's
Thank you🙂

Does she have an insurance?
I have looked at the nursing courses available. There are quite a few, it may depend how flexible she can be as to where she goes
Good luck!

She needed a B in her course but has achieved a C so I'm just trying to prepare some back up options if she doesn't get a place 😀

No insurance, she applied for 5 rejected by 1 - interviews for 4 and only 1 offer

A 1 grade drop it's worth her calling admissions even if u case shows as rejected.

Sadusername · 17/08/2016 23:00

I wonder if they would want to interview again. Do you know if she reached the standard offer of any of the ones she was rejected from?

PurpleDaisies · 17/08/2016 23:02

How does she have her results already?! Aren't they out tomorrow?

If her uni won't take her she can enter clearing and apply for other course. The clearing list is already in line so she could make a shortlist. Hopefully there'll take her anyway. Good luck.

I don't know whether she reached the required level, she wasn't given any negative feedback - she failed one of the tests by one mark at one, said the other interviews and group tasks seemed to go well.

She didn't do a levels she did a vocational course worth 3 a'levels. She received the results last Saturday.

Ah, that makes sense. So presumably she's already been in touch with her uni to confirm they definitely won't take her?

Laceybean · 17/08/2016 23:47

She's rang a couple of times this week and they said she still has a chance but must wait until tomorrow

She can probably log on to the I as tracker in seven minutes and find out...assuming it doesn't crash as usual.

I really hope it works out for her.

Thank you xx
