DS1 has got 2 interviews (at Manchester and Loughborough) and although he has an offer, Leeds has also invited him to an Open Day where there'll be a "group interview".

He wants to do Chemical Engineering.

He has Asperger's, and I'm know he's going to find the interviews very hard going.

I'm not sure how to approach it, whether his 6th form advise their pupils on interview techniques?? Or whether I should let him get him get on with it by himself, he's just turned 18

Why wouldn't you offer tips & support? If you offer & he tells you to Fag Off then fair enough.

They are looking for confidence, composure, thoughtfulness & commitment. Not at amazing levels, just some of each please. The group interview sounds like Teamwork, too.

Do they know he has Aspergers? They will take this into account if for example the group interview is something that wouldn't accurately reflect his abilities.
