Does anyone know when the university's get the a level results?
My dd had an email from her first choice uni today asking for a copy of her EPQ )extended project qualification ) which she did 2 years ago. Any ideas why they might be asking ?

I don't know but my DS said emails re places go out at midnight. Seems quite early to me but I shall be watching UCAS Track like a hawk!

Midnight Wednesday into Thursday that is.

Universities got the results at the weekend. But sometimes they don't automatically get older results which is probably why they are asking for info now. This will help them to have their decisions made and processed by Thursday. Good luck to yur daughter.

i know they usually receive an email from uni first thing in the morning, ucas is from 8am. But do the university's get their results a day before/week before?

They already have her epq result. She took it 2 years ago. She told them she doesn't have a copy and won't be able to ask school until they are open on Thursday and the uni said that's fine. It just seems strange that they have had months to ask for it and only ask 3 days before she finds out about her place.

Yesterday.

And they shouldn't have contacted her!

I wouldn't read anything into it. My DD was contacted by her firm uni, re halls inviting her to join fb pages ( was the uni itself not other potential students) to find she was rejected on the day. This was two days before results!
