Renewing student finance

Can anyone tell me when Freshers have to reapply for finance for 2nd year ? Also, last year we submitted income details to them but probably won't this year as we will probably just get the 65% of the maintenance loan - can we do this or do we have to submit figures this time because we did last year ? Hoping someone can advise

My DD has just reapplied.Don't know about the income information as she doesnt get any further help.

Usually mid late feb for reapplying (tho can be a bit later.. don't panic)

Once they have your financial details for the first year, it's a breeze..unless anything has changed they simply do it automatically .

I've been redoing two daughters for the last 3 years and one daughter for 5 (medicine) and I'm so glad it's over

Oddly enough a letter arrived today for ds, saying it will automatically happen unless he notifies them of any changes.
so we didnt do anything.
