Can anyone tell me how long after registration their Dcs finance hit the bank? Ds has received nothing as yet . Student finance tell him to speak to Uni, Uni say speak to student finance they have done their bit. Meantime bank of Mum goes further into meltdown!

ds1's loan went in last week - first lecture is this morning. Your ds should have a letter from the student loan company stating which day the payments are going to be made. Tell him to log into his account as there will be a copy of all letters there.

Ds started last Monday, registered then and that is the date on his letters!

On the Thursday of Fresher week. She said she looked at her student online account earlier than this and it showed it had been released and there was a future date shown on the payment as well - which turned out to be the date it actually got into her bank account. So she recommends checking his online student account.

When did he apply for the student loan? Are you sure he gave them the full bank details? Did anything change? (I only ask because DS ended up at his insurance and so we had to notify the Student Loan Company of the change).

DS did it months ago and got a letter saying when each payment would go into his bank. The first one was due in today and has gone through.

All sorted now thank you ,turned out that the Uni took his middle name as part of his surname so he didn't match up on the system.
