My daughter is moving away out of the country.
She's been away from home for at least 12 years, uni and then work.
It was bad enough when sh got married this year, but to leave the country.
I know I know if I was her I would be off and I am excited for her at the stare of her journey
I feel bereft
How can I get over this
I want to be happy for her but feel so alone

I only see my daughter a couple of times a year. She is the other end of the country, and has just left to go back home. I hate it still, and she left home ten years ago to go to Uni. She will miss you too, though. The excitement will wear off and the homesickness will start up. Facebook is my salvation. She posts loads of photos for me to see. I would get Skype if I were you.
