Giving up work for uni

Please could somebody help me with my dilemma?
I am in my late 20's with a child of ten. I am going to uni in September, however i can't decide whether to keep my full time job whilst i study or give it up? The pays ok and the job is bearable but from what i've seen online (using various calculators) i would be getting the same money just going to uni full time and claiming certain benefits.
At the minute, i don't receive working tax credit, just child tax. Child benefit, and my wage. If i gave my job up, would I be able to claim housing benefit whilst receiving student loans/grants and maintanance?
Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't know about the finance aspect, but not sure how you would be able to study full time and work full time. We tell students that, while we accommodate them working as much as we can, they do need to realise that a full time degree is exactly that.
