Planning for Uni

I have one child at uni, and 2nd is in the middle of exams and starting to look at uni courses. Just to remind other parents of Yr 12 - we need to be making arrangements to visit Open Days, as places have to be booked, and they all seem to take place over the summer. It's all very daunting, and you want to help without interfering (is that even possible??). I'm using an eBook from Amazon "How to Become A University Student" to steer us in the right direction. This is our next stage too - if you want some company, pop over to 'year 12 support thread ' on secondary education. We're all hanging out on there at the moment - but I suspect we'll be moving over to this section soon as the AS season ends!

I believe there's a website called opendays.com (or something similar) that collates a lot of the info.

I recommend The Student Room - loads of info there.
