inheritance will it affect loan application?

My dd is applying for student finance at the moment. She is due to inherit some money from her great grandmother. Will this affect her entitlement to a loan?

she'll need to declare the income she gets from her inheritance in the relevant tax year. As student finance is not based on current year's income it won't affect her immediately. If it's a small inheritance put it in an ISA as income from that won't affect student finance.
