CIMA - anyone doing this?

Just started CBA, to then do CIMA, anyone else?

I've been curious about this, too. I was an accountant in the US, but don't have an university degree in accounting (though I do have two uni degrees in other fields). I have a visa to work in the UK, and accounting seems to offer better job prospects than other fields I'm qualified for. CIMA looks like a good way for me to become familiar with UK accounting standards and to make me more attractive to potential employers.

Were you looking to do self-study, or take a course? Do you have study materials yet?
