Legally Separated Parents & Student Loans

We are about to reapply for my DD's student loan. My DD lives with me and I am now on a lower income and my job is about to be disbanded. Does anyone know whether this will have an affect on how much my DD can get as a loan? I have looked on the student loans web pages and can see what you have to provide as proof of divorce/separation but not about whose income they take into account?

Thank you for any help/links you may have as this is my first post.

We applied for student loan using one parent's wage (usually the parent they live with)

DD should get more help if you are lowest earner
