Question re harvard referencing for my assignment! help please!

I am referring to two journal articles by the same author which were published in the same year and same issue of the journal. I know how to cite these works in the bibliography, but how do I do the in text referencing to show which article I am referring to??

you would cite them as (Jones, 2009a) and then (Jones, 2009b) and so on. I used to be a Prod Editor on academic journals and this is how we always dealt with these sort of refs.
