Is it worth it?

My DS will be starting school in August and I am planning to start college in September. I was hoping to study NC then HNC in Early Edcation.

I am 24 and left school with (the lower end of) average GCSE's and went on to complete an SVQ 2 in Playwork in 2004 so I am not the brightest of people but I am willing to learn.

I loved my job in childcare but unfortunately there does not seem to be much call for staff in After School clubs or any sort of youth capacity so I have decided that nurseries would be fun too.

My main concern is that going back to college will be a big shock for me (I only went one night a week whilst working), so I thought to ease myself back into studying I could do this course which starts in March and ends in July. It would be free as I can use my ILA account to pay for it.

I am just really confused by the whole thing TBH!

Well it depends on your criteria of worth it. If you wants something that appeals to your interests, will ease you back into studying and will give you confidence - then I'd say go for it. Xmas Smile
