Bumbo seat

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone has tried this seat and if it is good/practical.

My baby loves to seat up and look around and I dont want to keep her in the bouncer for too long.

They are good, but to be honest your baby will probably only use it for a month or two so they work out quite expensive. If you can borrow one or get one secondhand, worth a try.

no good if you have a skinny child as the legs need to wedge them in but are imo very limited time span.

My girls both liked it and the smaller one was three this week and still likes to sit in it sometimes.They do manage to get out of them sooner than you'd think though!

all 3 of mine hated it

they kept tipping their heads back, and they couldn't reach toys they dropped on the floor

My boys both loved theirs. Ds1 didn't figure out how to get out of it for ages. DS2 however could get out pretty young. Still i feel it was a good buy. Can be used as a first chair for feeding.

My DS loved his one and you ca buy a little tray that fits on so they can play with toys or as Eglu said it can be used as a seat for feeding.

They are quite expensive though so maybe have a look on e bay for one?

I went to motherare to buy one of these, and the staff person I asked for help begged me not to buy it! She said forcing a child to sit upright before their chest mussles are strong enough is very bad for them - think she said it was their lungs it effected. So she scared me so much I didn't buy it...
