Help with tripp trapp

I want to buy a white tripp trapp and will need the bar, my dd is 10 month but don't want the cushion etc. When you buy the basic chair do you get the wooden bar with it? All i can see is that plastic seat thing which she won't need and i think the plastic is not as nice tbh. There are so many websites to look at and they vary on price quite a bit argh!!!!!

The chair doesn't come with the bar

I got mine here but it looks like the wooden bar is now plastic which looks rubbish

when I got mine I bought it with the baby set which was the plastic back and then a wooden bar

The bar used to be extra as part of the baby set. Design has changed since we had ours though, see here and not sure what it is made of now.

Thanks guys, looks like i'll have to get the plastic one. It looks horrible and will have to use it for a while unfortunately

I'm moving from a house to a flat so the dining table will be off of the living room so don't want the current high chair in there it will look awful. Of well will try to look on Ebay too.

The Nursery Shop (here) are selling some of the wooden baby kits (plastic back but wooden bar) at a reduced price of £29.95. On the website they have whitewash, not an exact match to white but still might look better than plastic? Could be worth giving them a call to see if they have any white?

Aitch · 04/05/2010 12:00

what are stokke thinking of? that plastic is awful, esp the brown woody one.

nannyj · 04/05/2010 12:41

They are out of stock of the whitewash SS but thanks so much for looking for me. the plastic is so awful but i have a feeling it's a safety thing. Can't imagine they think it looks better.

i think the yellow would look really nice with white, tbh. gender neutral and fresh.

StarSailors · 04/05/2010 13:32

No problem, sorry i'm sure they were in stock when I checked. I agree Aitch, yellow and white sounds nice, i'd not thought of mixing and matching the colours before.

nannyj · 04/05/2010 13:55

Have just phoned them up and they have them in stock and will change it online yeah.

yes yes but we are right about the yellow. ;-D nicer than whitewash imo, won't look like you're trying and failing to match.

Def decided against the white wash now but not keen on yellow. It looks like they have all white ones at kiddicare but they seem £££. But i guess they are all that price.
