Hello,

I’m feeling pretty stupid about this mistake. A guy on gumtree was giving away what he called a “trip trapp” for free because he did not have the screws for assembly. I looked and saw the screws were £10 to buy from Stokke.

I guess it was too good to be true, but anyway when I got it home and started getting ready to order the screws, I realised it was a Danchair and not a Tripp Trapp. (The reason we wanted the Tripp Trapp was specifically for the baby seat attachment, which we would have bought new.) Not only that, it was a pre-2013 Danchair, which I can’t find any fittings for online… I’m wondering if I should persevere or cut my losses (£15 taxi ride home). What would you do?

Keep looking for Trip Trap online. Lots going cheap. EBay. Even vinted with local town name

Thats what I want to do. I had just missed out on one the other day before I saw this.

Do you think I should just toss the Danchair? I feel bad because the parts that exist are good but obviously I have no way of finding the other parts!

Maybe advertise it stating needing bolts again.
might be perfect for someone else. They might have a half broken one.

good luck.
