Hi all.

DD is 1. She hates eating in her high chair at home.
I think it may be the restrictions or she’s so much more aware now that she doesn’t want to stop playing with her toys and then start eating.
anyway she really kicks off at home throwing food, tantrums, not eating a proper meal then I get worried she’s not eaten enough. She has a milk bottle before bed.

At nursery they tell me she is a dream!!! She eats well, sits well a little angel!
At nursery they have those low table and chairs and also she is eating with her peers so that influences her behaviour.

At home she eats the same dinner as us so we sit at the dinning table as a family to eat but most evenings (especially on nursery days when she is extra tired) DH and I are rushing our dinner in silence tolerating DD screaming and crying.
This is not how I envisioned eating as a family!

DD is generally a good eater it’s just her temperament in a high chair. It also makes it difficult for us to go out and eat which is chaos.

any advice??

What do nursery use to feed the kids? If she is fine there could you get something similar?

We didn’t have a high chair. We used a sort of strap on that you attach to a normal chair so kiddo wasn’t so high up.
