Does Aldi have car seat trolleys?

As in a trolley designed to strap my car seat securely onto?
I know they have trolleys with standard toddler/infant seats but my baby is only a few weeks old so trying to decide whether I should baby wear/carseat on trolley (preferred so to not wake baby & do quick shop)/take pram.

Logistics of shopping with a baby eh 😂

I’ve never seen one. I’d probably go for a sling anyway so they’re not in the car seat too long

MissyB1 · 08/01/2023 17:51

Not at our local Aldi no, you might be best wearing a sling.

PainAuChocoless · 08/01/2023 17:54

Ah I thought as much.

I'll probably take my baby carrier then 🤦🏼‍♀️ was hoping to whiz round with an undisturbed sleeping baby as I only need a few items.

Stand it in the trolley?

mummyh2016 · 08/01/2023 17:58

They do at our Aldi OP.

abyssofwoah · 08/01/2023 18:03

Ours does too

PainAuChocoless · 08/01/2023 18:04

@mummyh2016 ooh can I ask where roughly you are? I'm NE England.

@PainAuChocoless I'm West Midlands. It is quite a large Aldi and has only been open for a couple of years so fairly new so that may be why.

NannyR · 08/01/2023 18:05

If you only need a couple of bits I would just put the car seat in the trolley.

SirSamVimesCityWatch · 08/01/2023 18:18

Yorkshire. Yes, at ours. Not many though, although you can just pop the car seat into the bottom of the trolley?

AlwaysFoldingWashing · 08/01/2023 18:34

Edinburgh- none that I have seen

parsniiips · 08/01/2023 18:35

I always put a car seat inside the trolley and put shopping around them

ShadowPuppets · 08/01/2023 18:36

I always just got the buggy out and stashed what I needed to in the base of the buggy…

Pinkflipflop85 · 08/01/2023 18:43

Ours does.

To be honest though they are awful to use. The height of the seat holder means that, once you add the baby carrier, you can't actually see where you're going! And it can be a pain getting stuff in and out of it.

I used it once then never again!

Alstoybarn · 08/01/2023 18:44

They do at ours. I'm in Northumberland

BertieBotts · 10/01/2023 16:32

Lol I can never see over the baby either! Must be designed by a very tall man!

BertieBotts · 10/01/2023 16:33

I used to prefer getting a shallow trolley and putting the baby seat in the main part of the trolley - not so high. I couldn't say whether Aldi have those trolleys, though.
