Hi, Ftm of 2 week old, still teeny not quite 6pounds. Bought a babymoove bouncer but the seat harness is too large. Thought I might try a cheap lightweight bouncer, was looking at Fisher price infant to toddler range after reading mumsnet reviews, but there is a US warning notice about 13 deaths using these bouncers. Does anyone know what is safe for newborn, really just looking for somewhere baby can sit semi- reclined for about 30 mins post meal.

I had a Mamas & Papas bouncy chair for ds, it got used right from him being newborn up to him crawling. He had very bad reflux & it was the only place we could get him to sleep. We even put it in his cot at night if he wouldn't settle laid flat.

Same as @Nat6999 (including the putting it in the cot !)
The Fisher Price one that sadly some babies died in was withdrawn from sale.
Unless you are buying a secondhand one you wouldn't be getting that one.
