Jumperoo age?

Hi all

DD is 6 months and has a jumperoo. Wondering if anyone has any advice on this?

  • Do I buy clarks shoes so she doesn't hurt her feet?
  • Do I set the height so she dangles and can't touch the floor?
  • Do I just leave her to it?

When standing her up she doesn't take her weight well yet and curls her toes...
Help please

Did yours not come with instructions? Set it so they can just touch the floor, no need for shoes.

Thanks.. yes but just looking for advice from those who have used them before as mum has banged on about her feet being too soft for it so got me second guessing

Is it on carpet? If so then she definitely won’t need shoes

Just put in on the setting so that she can touch the floor so she can bounce and leave her to it

Just ignore the “her feet are too soft” comments, it doesn’t sound like the most helpful advice

If you have hard floors the foam floor tiles are good. Don't need shoes until they are walking.

Hmm

Follow the instructions. Her feet are fine and she won't be taking her weight on them or her knees, etc. as long as you follow the instructions.

Do not suspend her in the Jumperoo so that she is dangling - that's not going to be fun for her, places additional strain on her hips and defeats the main purpose of the thing (the clue is in its name).

Yes it's on a carpet... should I put it so she just touches the floor or can stand flat?

I think it should be so just her toes can touch the floor. If her whole foot is on the floor it needs go up a setting.

Shoes are only for when she has been walking for 6 weeks and only for outside. Yes the bones in the feet are soft so they are suppose to move which is why they should only wear shoes when essential.
