How long should baby spend in Tripp Trapp newborn seat

My little girl is a few days old and has taken to her Tripp Trapp newborn seat very well! My concern is that I've heard rumblings in the past about limiting time in car seats and as the seat is a similar position I was wondering if there is a recommended limit for time spent in a newborn seat etc? She seems much happier slightly upright rather than flat in her Moses basket etc - as she's got a bit of wind being upright more seems to suit her!

As little time as possible - I think the recommendation is 30 minutes for a newborn the. 2 hours once they are a bit older. Because the seats hold them in a bent position it can cause problems with airways and restrict breathing. There was a very sad story from the US of a baby who had been left to sleep in a car seat and suffocated

If she's happier upright perhaps you could try a baby carrier or sling?

Oh, just realised this isn't actually a car seat - sorry! Does the manual say anything?

Thanks theCC! Nothing in the manual unfortunately.
