What highchair to go for?

LO is 5m & I am looking into highchairs now. Ive started him on some farleys in the morning past 2 days but it's abit difficult feeding him in the lap.

Could any one suggest a compact highchair?

We want something that can fold up & be put away when not in use.

We have a baby bjorn - ludicrously expensive, but brilliant. Ours is a hand me down and still going strong after about three years of use.

We had one of these. DD was still in it at 2.5 years from 6 months old. I sold it on ebay for £100.

Ahh the brother max scoop doesnt fold up

Everyone ends up with an ikea antilop it doesn't fold down but the legs do come off I spent a fortune to have a folding one then never actually got round to putting it away

Mine doesn't get folded now (unless we're going out for food at friends/family so bung it in the car), but it got folded/unfolded three times a day for most of the last year while we still lived in a 2-bed house with no space for an highchair that wasn't in use.

I'd go for the Stokke Tripp Trapp. You can get an extension for a baby and you can use it until they're well in primary school.. Costs a lot of money, but will last a long time.

I would recommend Stokke Tripp Trapp too. Its really worth for the money you spend.

Ikea all the way here. You can bung it in the dishwasher if you're doing BLW!

Ah just realised this thread is from Jan '16, guessing the op has got a high chair sorted! 😆 would still recommend ikea though

Tripp trapp. Still used every day and they're 6.

We have a Stokke Tripp Trapp and we love it but its a little pricey but I think worth the money as its excellent for a new born all the way up to adulthood. It is also very robust and sturdy which for me is VERY important, especially if your child will be using it.
