Mothercare Hoola Rocker

Just wanted to make all aware of an issue I've found with Mothercare's 'Hoola Rocker' vibrating, music playing, stripey, rocking chair.

My 8 week old has sat in it for no longer than 5 mins when I noticed blood smearing where he was kicking in the seat. His foot was kicking the star shaped music button which then cut his ankle. One to avoid if you're in the market for a seat to occupy your little one for a while. Can anyone recommend an alternative?

I bought one of these today as it was reduced. I was really excited as the seat was great and could fold flat for easy storage but when we got it home and popped my 3 month old in it there was no way on earth he was ever going to be able to reach the toys, it was ridiculous! I then looked on line to see if anyone else had reported this issue and came across your post. I put him in it again and sure enough he started kicking vigorously (as they do) and his foot went straight onto the little star button. It's going straight back to the shop tomorrow. I can't believe something like that got through their testing!! I haven't found anything else in this price range that folds up so nicely unfortunately let me know if you find anything.
