We have a Tripp Trapp for DS (7.5 months). He is very tall for his age, and has a tendency to push back alarmingly on the foot plate, and look for all the world like he is going to topple out. I am certain he won't, as his centre of gravity is too low, but I do fear that he might be unsafe as he grows taller. We haven't bought the harness, but I am heading for even greyer hair at this rate, and need to get one.
The Tripp Trapp harness seems ludicrously expensive. Obviously if it's the only one that fits then I'll bite the bullet and pay it, but I was just wondering if anyone has used generic harnesses from Boots or similar on the newest model of Tripp Trapp.
Kind of wishing I'd bought him the £11 Ikea jobby that his brother and sister had now...
